I’m really going to miss it when its over. There’s nothing quite like walking onto a plane without needing to deal with the hassle of commercial aviation. My brother JJ and myself have been looking to fly to NYC for a meeting. He’s currently in Miami while I’m in Cleveland, so when Yaalili posted on DDF this past Tuesday that there was a Jetsmarter flight from Cleveland to NYC I jumped onto the app and noticed that there was also a Jetsmarter flight from West Palm Beach to NYC on Wednesday, so we held the flights and arranged to have a dinner meeting at Reserve Cut. With Jetsmarter deals you can book 2 free seats … [Read more...] about Trip Notes: Flying Private To NYC And Tips For Dealing With Flight Delays And Cancellations

American Express is a DansDeals.com advertiser. Originally posted on 10/08: Do your eyes glaze over every time I make another post about miles and credit cards? If it’s the latter, you have good instincts. Never Miss Another Deal - Follow DansDeals on FacebookIn September 2015 Delta and American ended their interline agreement. Delta wanted more money to accommodate American’s passengers as Delta’s operational performance is much better than American’s, but American refused to pay. That wound up haunting me personally. American refused to rebook our failed trip to London on Delta in November 2015 due to their lack of an interline agreement. Instead they had us spend the night with our kids in an airport. It took 8 months just to get a refund from that fiasco. Delta felt that they didn’t need to rely on American’s flights, but they were wrong. After a series of IT and power failures they relented and began interlining with American again. @delta We are unable to honor your request for $50,000,000 in reimbursement compensation for the ATL power outage, but we have deposited 4,000 bonus miles into your Delta SkyMiles® account as a goodwill … [Read more...] about AAmerican’s Horrendous New Irregular Operations Policy And AAnother Trip In Vain To NYC For My Grandfather’s 90th

I may be a religious Jew, but that doesn’t mean I’m satisfied limiting my travels to the same boring spots every time, just in order to have kosher restaurants. My most memorable trips aren’t to Miami, LA, or Cancun. They’re the ones to Tasmania, Palau, Svalbard, Dubai, Kobe, Lofoten, Florionopolis, Banff, Iguazu Falls, Kwajalein, Guam, and the Whitsundays Islands. But I also don’t care to live off of Tuna and Peanut Butter. I’ve traveled to those places with double sealed gourmet kosher meals that I have warmed up in hotels, vacation homes, etc. Sure, I have incurable wanderlust vice. But I also love doing mitzvos (good deeds) and … [Read more...] about Antarctica Trip Notes Part 1: Buenos Aires+Planning And Positioning For The Adventure Of A Lifetime
