I think I speak for everyone when I say I'd do just about anything to revitalize my skin – especially if it only took a few minutes. And one of the latest beauty crazes, jade rollers, promises to help do just that. Jade facial rollers have really been around for centuries, and there is evidence of them first appearing in Ancient China years before they popped up on your Instagram feed. But now that they've regained popularity, we thought it was worth taking a closer look at these magical little beauty tools. But before we dive in, let's clear up the big question first: What are jade rollers? While the design of each jade facial roller varies slightly, a typical jade roller is a small, beauty tool composed of a piece of smooth, cool jade that's attached to a handle. You simply roll the stone across clean skin in specific patterns and directions to help reduce puffiness and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In general, jade rolling is said to help improve circulation … [Read more...] about The Guide to Jade Facial Rollers: Do They Really Work?
I left off previously last month when we were leaving the Newark Presidents Club in middle of a flying across the country earning miles worth more than the cost of the $78 ticket… -We were upgraded on the flight from Newark to Houston. The aircraft was a 777-200, the same airplane that Continental flies on international routes, like from Newark to Tel Aviv. It was my first time being in the BusinessFirst section of that aircraft since Continental switched from their old style BusinessFirst seats to the new lie-flat seats. It was a pleasure to be able to make the seat into a bed with the touch a button. There is even a USB plug to charge an iPod for example and a regular 3-prong style plug as well. I did notice that the cutout where your feet go when the seat is made into a bed varied greatly between seats. While some seats had huge footwell cutouts, others had significantly smaller footwells. Bulkheads seemed to have the biggest footwell … [Read more...] about Trip Notes: Our SoCal Quasi-Mileage Run…
Never Miss Another Deal - Follow DansDeals on FacebookUpdate: DEAD! Settlers Of Catan For $26.12 Shipped From Amazon Settlers Of Catan is one of the best board games ever made and I’m a huge fan. Don’t judge me, so are the Green Bay Packers. The biggest advantage of it over traditional games like Risk or Monopoly is that you are forced to change your strategy every time you play as the board is set up randomly and is never the same as the last time. Plus it can be played in just 1-2 hours. The regular Catan game is for 3-4 players and the expansion pack allows 5-6 players to join in on the fun, though I enjoy playing 4 player games using the expansion pack as well. 3-4 Players, 60 minute playing time Tons of replay value New graphics, board and cards Expanded Rule Book Winner of “Game of the Century” award HT: Davidthebest, via DDF a free trial of Amazon Prime. A prime trial is also free with Amazon Family (which also … [Read more...] about Settlers Of Catan For $26.12 Shipped From Amazon
Monopoly! There’s no better board game you can play with your friends and/or family when you want to spend a good few hours locked in a bitter class struggle until one person eventually emerges as both tycoon and victor – and thus, capitalism! There have been a huge array of editions of Monopoly through the years, as it pioneered the licensed board game genre. Let’s take a glance at the best Monopoly editions out there, with a list of twenty of them. If it so goes that you are both alive and reading this right now, odds are at least fairly good that you’ve at least heard of Monopoly the board game before. It’s over a hundred years old, is well known for taking hours to finish a game, and is almost guaranteed to upset the relationship between you, your family and friends at least once. For a game based around buying up real estate and being the ‘winner’ by earning the most money and making your associates bankrupt, it’s ironic that the … [Read more...] about The 20 best editions of Monopoly for niche board game nights
Never Miss Another Deal - Follow DansDeals on FacebookDan’s note: One of my duties on the #KosherAntarctica Cruise last month was calculating the daily zmanim and setting up our daily prayer schedule, our 10 Teves fast times, and most critically, our Shabbos schedule. As I noted previously, we needed to find a cruise that departed on a Monday and returned on a Thursday. We did find one cruise that met all of our parameters, but the timing of the cruise was not exactly ideal. It departed on the 8th day of Chanuka and it was over a fast day. The cruise was also over the Shabbos that immediately preceded the southern hemisphere’s summer solstice. That meant that we would run into additional halachic issues about Shabbos and prayer times as the latitude at which there would be no darkness is much farther north during the weeks in close proximity to the summer solstice. But if we wanted to go, this was our only tenable option. I spent many hours working … [Read more...] about Guest Post: Halachic Zmanim In Polar Regions On The Kosher Antarctica Cruise

In 2012 when Singapore started allowing people to redeem miles for the A380 couple’s suite I booked us tickets to Paris just 2 days before departure. It was our 2nd visit to the city of lights, but we enjoyed it so much the first time that we had to go back again. We spent 2 nights at the Park Hyatt there and enjoyed the city in the quieter winter season. In 2013 when BA had a glitch that allowed us to fly to Buenos Aires in first class for 0 miles we dropped Rafi off at my parents and were on a plane within just 2 hours of booking tickets! We only spent a single night in Buenos Aires, much to the shock of the … [Read more...] about Trip Notes Rome: Veni, Vidi, Vici In 48 Hours; United Polaris First Class And Polaris Lounge Review
